Hi my name is Rohan Punj, I am in 11th grade and am a writer for the Baldwin High School Newspaper: The Golden Wave. Outside of school, I am a huge sports fan, and my favorite sport is basketball. This year I have written many pieces on the most recent and exciting news which has occurred within our sports world. I love sports because of the atmosphere which comes with it, as well as its competitive nature. To add to this, they also provide a platform for athletes to express what they believe in as well. Writing for the Golden Wave this year has been so much fun. I have also learned a lot about not only writing, but also about myself. This year has been incredible and I can’t wait for the next year of being apart of the Golden Wave.
