Its September 2022, school is back in session, the summer is gone and sports are back. More specifically, football is back! This 2022-2023 NFL season is going to be the best, filled with new players, better teams, and more excitement.
With the Los Angeles Rams winning it all last season, many teams are looking to bounce back and compete for the 2023 Super Bowl. This offseason was filled with drama, focused primarily on one of the greatest NFL players of all time, Tom Brady. Suddenly, right after last season, the Tampa Bay Buccaneer decided to retire, completely shocking the sports world. However, in August, Brady shocked the sports world once again when he said he would be returning to the game he loved for another season. With his return the NFL would soon become even more competitive, including new teams, which had made offseason signings to better their roster.
One of the teams which improved its roster immensely during the offseason was its Los Angeles Chargers. The Chargers added star players such as Khalil Mack (pass rusher), and extended the contract of Mike Williams (wide receiver). Another team that is recognized as the favorite to win it all this February is the Buffalo Bills. Already containing star power with their quarterback Josh Allen and wide receiver Stefon Diggs, the Bills upgraded their defense adding players such as former Super Bowl Most Valuable Player Von Miller. Other teams looking to win the Super Bowl include the Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
This 2022-2023 NFL season is looking to be one of the most electric and competitive. This year will not be one to forget, and will get fans out of their seats, so get ready because football is back!
