Baldwin’s Got Talent ! ’23
Baldwin Step Team takes 2nd place out of 21 acts in Talent Show.
With a whopping 21 acts, the Baldwin High School Talent Show hosted by Phoenix Magazine was a success! Our talented performers ranged from various singers, dancers, musicians, entertainers, and writers. 300 tickets were sold and Baldwin was extremely lively as usual in support of them. Honorable mention was pianist Rachel Lyons, who played “Tempest Sonata. 3rd movement” by Beethoven. Third place had a three-way tie between pianist and singer Camdresa Davis, freestyle saxophonist Sanaa Cadet, and pianist and singer Asia Dowe. Our second place winner was the BHS Step Team dancing to a mash-up of various songs. Last but not least, first place went to Cornelius Johnson, who sang “Tomorrow” from Annie, but with a surprise.
