The sequel to Black Panther, Wakanda Forever, came out on November 11, 4 years after the original’s release. After the unfortunate death of Chadwick Boseman, the actor who played King T’Challa, the movie switched focus from him to T’Challa’s mother and sister. Chadwicks character was confirmed dead at the start of the movie. There was a tribute to him in the beginning as well. Different from the first movie, the sequel focuses on a conflict between Wakanda and a neighboring country. It also focuses on the effects of T’Challas death on his loved ones and wakanda as a whole. The movie focuses on the idea of grief while also showcasing the new black panther, Shuri. Many fan-favorite characters make their appearances and many new characters are introduced. It’s a must-watch especially if you loved the original.
